Hello, I’m John. I lead design from strategy through execution. Dutch-American, born and raised in London, I hold a Master’s in Design (MID) from RISD and a B.A. from Columbia.
I most recently led product design at Fresh Tri, shaping habit loops, content systems, and social experiences to drive daily engagement and retention. Previously, I designed financial products at Npact and modernised digital media platforms like The Tundra. Before design I worked as a professional actor, which still shapes how I think about storytelling, empathy, and craft.
Some things (other than design) that I am passionate about are - fatherhood and furniture (making and buying), the wild,astronomy, history, guitar, dancing and beautiful bark 🌲
